Eaglestone's people are the firm's most valuable asset and are critical to our successVasco Vilela has 15 years of professional experience in innovation and finance activities in various sectors and geographies. He has led more than 20 Venture Capital operations carried out in startups & scaleups, in co-investments with leading operators in the European ecosystem.
In addition to his experience in the energy sector, in Portugal and Brazil, Vasco has worked as a Financial Director and Equity Manager in financial institutions, and investment funds, for development in the Portuguese, African and South American markets, where he also developed skills in cooperation with multilateral financial institutions. He has also served as a member of investment committees in Investment Funds, deal-by-deal and fund of funds (FoF).
He holds a degree in Economics from the Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG-UL), an Executive Master in Finance from the Lisbon Catholic School of Business & Economics (CLSBE) and a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management in Banking from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
