Adriano Torres

Adriano Torres serves as Eaglestone's Chief Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer. He has 5 years of experience in performing legal roles, having been a technician at the Legal Office of the Catholic University of Angola and later a technician of the Department of Supervision of Collective Investment Undertakings (Organismos de Investimento Colectivo – OIC) of the Capital Markets Commission (CMC) of Angola.

His experience in the Capital Markets Commission was marked by the accomplishment of tasks such as the licensing and monitoring of activities and entities integrated in the segment of Collective Investment Undertakings (OIC), integration in the task force of the Capital Markets Commission for the National Risk Assessment to which Angola was subjected to in 2022, by the Eastern and Southern Africa-Money Laundering Group,  as well as for participation in the development of technical bases for the creation of regulatory instruments, including in the field of AML/CFT/PWMD.

His professional career was also highlighted by the award for best employee of the Supervision Department of the Capital Markets Commission, in the year 2022.

He holds a Law degree from the Catholic University of Angola in 2019 and has degrees in Securities Law, Financial Intermediation Contracts and Investment Funds.
