Eaglestone advises Red Rocket South Africa on the Witberg Wind Farm

Eaglestone is pleased to announce that it has acted as financial advisor to Red Rocket South Africa (Pty) Ltd on the Witberg Wind Farm, which successfully achieved financial close in December 2023. The Witberg Wind Farm is located in the Western Cape of South Africa with a nameplate capacity of 108 MW and a contracted capacity of 102.6 MW, with a total project cost in excess of R3.4 billion. This project will be the largest private wind farm to be constructed in South Africa, to date, with a private off-take from Sibanye Stillwater, the world’s largest primary producer of platinum, second largest primary producer of palladium and third largest producer of gold.
